This really is a good price for this motor. Friday morning it goes in a crate to be shipped back home.
8 hp Mercury outboard motor. Comes with used spare prop, new water pump impeller still in the box, new plugs still in box. Replaced the fuel pump. It only has about 8-10 hours on it pushing a canoe. The entire motor itself has low hours.
It runs great. Starts on first pull. Sold the 19' Grumman canoe that I had been using it with so don't need it anymore. The gear we are carrying in the pictures is about half of what we took when we had the motor. The outboard had no trouble pushing us against a 5-6 knot current with ease, making 5-6.5 knots to the good. It is a very dependable engine.
The attached pictures are of the canoe but it gives you an idea of what it can push. Sorry I don't have any of the motor.
