South African Boerboel Puppies! - Price: $1800 in Anchorage, Alaska

We are excited to offer a few select families the opportunity to own one of our amazing South African Boerboel pups! This is a new and rare breed in America, and we own the only breeding pair in Alaska. In xxxx, the Boerboel was nearly extinct, and it is only because of the hard work and dedication of a handful of reputable breeders that these puppies are possible today.

We are pleased to announce that our dam, Saphira, gave birth to 10 happy, healthy Boerboel babies on November 6. We have 6 females and 4 males. We have 6 pups still available for reservation. 9 are brindle and 1 is fawn. Our puppies are being raised indoor, under strict supervision to ensure proper socialization. They will have their first shots and wormings up to date. We are feeding them a high quality kibble and raw diet. Pups will come with a starter kit, limited heath guarantee, shot records, food sample, microchips, training consultation, and lifetime breeder support. The pups will be ready for their new homes around Jan. 1, xxxx.
SIRE: Bosch was sired by the second Boerboel imported into America. Bosch and his Dam were the first Boerboels in the world to title in weight pull and he is currently the most decorated in his breed for the sport. He is a big muscular boy weighing in at 145 lbs. Bosch's temperament and personality are excellent! He is often described as "jovial" and it is a word that fits him well. He is true lover with his family and guards his pack with the dedication and enthusiasm required of a true Boerboel. Bosch is 7 years old and is SABT, USBA, AKC, and NKC registered. 
DAM: Saphira is a 4 year old beautiful dark red brindle Boerboel. In build and structure, she is a good example of the historical farm bred Boerboel. She has a well muscle and an athletic build which contributes to her incredible speed, agility and stamina! She weighs in at 110 lb. Saphira is a true watchdog and takes her job as our family protector very seriously. She has no problem letting strangers know they are unwelcome, but is not overly aggressive. Saphira is a very sweet, loyal and loving girl to her family and "pack". Saphira has OFA certified good hips and no DJD. She is vaginal prolapse/hyperplasia free as well as entropion/ectrpion free. She is registered with AKC and NKC and we are working on USBA registration.
ABOUT THE BREED: "The Boerboel is a large, mastiff dog breed from South Africa, bred for the purpose of guarding the homestead. These dogs were often a first line of defense against predators and were valuable in tracking and holding down wounded game. In our experience, the Boerboel has proven to be a strong, reliable, and dedicated family member and protector. They are eager to please and learn quickly. Their short hair and neat nature make them an ideal indoor dog. These dogs LOVE their kids, cats, and anything else they view as a member of their "pack". However, the Boerboel is not for everyone, as they are a true protection breed.
